I had some RJT in a spray can that I had left over from doing the interior trim. I had a local paint shop mix and fill the spray can.

Thanks, I was going to buy one from RBI, but it's $50ish. So does this mean I can go to my local body shop, ask them to mix RJT and put it in a spray can? That sounds like it would be cheaper. What prep to the surface did you do? Other than just cleaning it did you have to rough it up a little to get the paint to stick?

I lightly roughed with 300 grit then cleaned with alcohol. The RJT spray is expensive. I had some left over from doing my interior trim pieces so I didn't go out and have to buy a new can. If you have other stuff to paint the same color it would be cost effective to do your dipstick, otherwise it might cost you $50 for primer, base and clear!

Thanks, that was all I was going to paint. I guess it would be cheaper and easier just to buy one.

Congratulations on COTW!!!
We knew it had to happen soon.
It's just that there is a loose definition of "soon" on C5.
