ZL1 bumper (how to operate fog & drl)
I have Camaro SS (non rs) with a ZL1 bumper installed. I also have the RS Headlights (halo ring etc). The issue that I am having is how to get my fog lights to operate. Currently if i press the fog light button, the DRL lights come on. I wanted it to work were as if i start my car normally prior to night, the DRL will come on...when i turn my head lights on, the drl's shut off and when i press the fog light button..the fogs come on.
Can someone point me in the right direction Thanks

Do you have the ZL1 conversion harness from Gen5 DIY? If not then that's your answer.

Was your car a factory RS car or did you add the headlights? I ask because you said you have a fog light button, wasn't sure if you meant a factory one or not, I thought the RS version of our cars didn't come with a fog light button and that it wouldn't work even if you added the switch and Ofer's harness.

I too am having a fog light problem. I picked up a ZL1 harness, part number 22840497. I have a 2011 V6 with RS package. I hooked it all up and all lights work as designed with the exception of the fog lights not coming on at all. Everything is hooked up tight. It is a programming thing??

If I'm not mistaken Offer has 2 hardness, but if you looking to have fogs with drls on, what I did was wire my fogs with the halos that way when halos are on fogs lights too...

Why dont you just hook them up to switches. This would allow you total control over everything. I have this setup and works great. Have the lower fogs on one switch, Halos on DRL on a switch, DRL on a switch and then Headlight halos on a switch. Works great

Ofer (2SSRS) answered your question in the other thread - so I won't keep this one going.
