"Look! There's Bumblebee!"

I've seen this used as a negative point in a few reviews and I was wondering:

1. Does it/would it really bother anyone that a kid would say this?

and

2. Has anyone actually had this happen often? How about if your car isn't yellow?

I don't understand how it could be a negative thing. Or a positive thng, unless you really liked transformers. It's just a thing.

Doesn't bother me any. I enjoy this as an opener to talk about this wonderful car.

Yes it has happened to me several times.

@CCK: That was my thought, yet I've seen it in a few reviews.

I mean..who would dislike making a kid's day?

one kid was yelling at his parents to look over where I was sitting because I was supposedly Barack Obama. I don't look like Barack Obama, but I took it as a compliment because he is the President of the United States.

Since Bumblebee was the good guy in the movie, I'd take that as a compliment too! As long as kids don't get their ice cream covered fingers all over the windows.... j/k

Doesn't bother me at all, especially when it's from a little kid. I know the kid's just excited to see it in person. When he (or she!) gets older daddy can teach him 'The Way of the Camaro'

Many kids know the shape of the Camaro because of Bubble Bee. It's cool passing a school bus and reading their lips as that yell out to their friends..."There's a new Camaro"

i've actually heard a bunch of people call my car bumble bee or just say bumble bee when they see my car. what's funny is, every person i've heard say "bumble bee" have been a teenager or older. the only comment i've heard from a kid who seemed to be about 8 was, "now that's a nice car!"

Yup, had some teenagers (definitely not a car savvy one) go 'hey its the trasnformers car!' as I drove by, and quite a few lil kids saying ooo bumblebee! But no, doesn't bother me a bit (though the first one was funny, you'd think a teen would know what a Camaro is)

That's why I considered that car in the first place! Big Transformers fan. Cheesy and geeky, possibly, but I still love it! I've ordered it 10 days ago, and can't wait to have my own "Bumblebee"!

Least they are smart enough to know what kind of car it is w/o the yellow/black paint job. unless they are like 15+ then there shouldn't be an excuse!

Happens to me almost evertime I drive it. It doesn't bother me, it's cute when the kids say that.
