Camaro interior won't be anything like this tape and glue concoction. This works for the movie. The interior will be FAR superior to this. |

Yea yea, I got that, but this should be the template. If they are going to show the interior at all during the movie, and I'm sure they will a little bit, it has to look at least similar to production. Maybe they wiz by it with the cameras, but it has to look similar, or else it would be inconsistent. The interior here should probably be the basic interior, not detailed, but I think it will be similar.
Of course I could be wrong, but that's my .02 |

It would be nice if they did show it....but more of a GM Camaro interior. They didn't show it at all in the first movie. They just had shots of them sitting in teh seats.

New concept Corvette Pictures From Jalopnik "The vehicle in the picture is a corvette built for the movie by a company called DST. There are two of them on set. It's a brilliant design of retro sytling consisting of gull wing doors and a split window fast back similar to the 1963 model. I have been all over the car and have many upclose pics which I obviously can't release for legal reasons however I will answer questions." |

you mean R8. Either way,the car looks too batman-ish for public roads. I love the look of it, but I don't think something like that would ever make production lines.

I really like it, minus the back end.
C4-C6 were looking too much like updates of each other, rather than redesigns. This implements C1, C3, C6, and even new elements such as the gull wing doors. Now, I haven't seen any pictures of the rear, but I hope that they don't do anything to the classic round red tail lights. I also don't like the size of those wheel wells. It looks expensive though, I would expect a car looking like this to go for 60k at least. |

From the side, that Corvette looks beautiful. I love the fender bulging, the linework down the sides, and that very sleek greenhouse. But the pinched jet engine look of the front and back is very cartoonish. I think they could do something a little bit more traditional in the rear that blends nicely into the boattail and really pull off something gorgeous. Change that toothy grille in the front to something more like the C6 fascia and get rid of those huge intake ports.

No, meant the Koenigsegg. The R8's cabin doesn't have those lines at all, much more similar to a Koenigsegg imo.
