I just don't get the black rim deal, wheels are meant to be seen. I see a car with black wheels, I can't tell what the design is until I'm five feet away. To each his own I guess.

. In person, I could not see any difference in the facia and the body color.
For you QC folks- be gald it is. Mine will have to have this door fit issue fixed by the dealer. They are OK with it and have been SUPER.
Now if those wanting the blacked out effects like my signature picture, the standard RS 20" wheels do not look as black as the chevy order site would lead you to believe. Once rinsed off and no dust, they might turn out better. But a disappointment. Wheels are painted and clear coat and the shop guys at the dealer have a plan already to do a simple black out so it looks like the picture. They are painted and the guys say they can fix it in 1/2 day.
One question they can't answer. Where is the Officail Chevy Camaro welcome book? They thought GM was sending??

Does it look more like the red...or more like the orange in the picture of it on the truck?

Please take lots of pics when you have the wheels painted, i had the same plan as you but i dont have the car yet, so hopefully your soon to be darkers rims will confirm my decision to do so!

Hum whoever passed that QC needs to be punished.

Make sure you take a LOT of pictures at deliver time so if you missed something.

That whole car needs to be inspected I would not trust whoever did the first one.

Orange is more like on the truck, even more orange than that picture.
They are going over with a microscope as we speak. The picture exagerates the door a bit, but every thing else looks OK so far. No facia color issue! Will post pics of modified wheels.

How in the world could that have passed QC?? Oh well, at least it will be fixed before you pick it up... IOM looks beautiful by the way on the truck. It looks best when the sun is hitting it and makes it more orange..

Sigh.... mine is still stuck in QC in Pontiac Michigan of all places..... still trying to figure that one out. She was finished 2 weeks ago....

You ordered IOM so it is most likely the mismatched front bumper problem..

So what are they going to do about us delivered IOM's that DONT match. I said earlier that it was OK, but once cleaned up and inside, the mixup was obvious. Front is off color. I'll get better pics in a day or 2 on this thread. Also-check your doors
