I think all of Suncoast's Ram air hoods are functionable and usally have a vent at the rear to extract heat from the engine bay.

My husband & I bought a hood via you guys back in 01 (matter of fact the car went in to the shop 9/11/01 to get the hood on & painted)

people love the sound of the car, when it starts up & shuts down lol. Hood hasnt been damanged or anything like that, in all the years we have had it on the car.

Kind of disappointed you guys took the pics off cust, cars off the next.
(NO THAT IS NOT A TRANSAM HATCH its open for show lol)

Hood looks freakin' GREAT.

But....that damn mail slot just kills it. REALLY needs the mail slot delete for that to work, IMO.

I think it actually looks pretty good even with the mail slot.

btw. What is the hood made out of? Lighter than the factory hood?

Hood looks great, but I agree with the others looks wayyyy too busy for my taste with the mail slot.

i really don't think it looks terrible with the mail slot. at least they designed it in accordance with it. the lines all match up. i like it.

my worry comes with the paint matching. my CGM will be here shortly, but it looks like the paint doesn't match exactly...of course it could be the light.

but really how easy should it be to color-match CGM..?

i plan on getting a mail slot delete once i get the hood back on. i met Ric on friday - cool guy

and the vent on the back is just stuck on there for the pics, but it will be a functional heat extractor, the designer (tom) wants to put something similar to the gills on the side for the extractor vents

I already have a ramair on my car and most of the guys on this forum will be getting the vararam also so no need for the ram air hood but if you guys make the 4"cowl hood I will buy one no questions asked
