Same problem, people always tell me I'm washing my paint off. I live in the desert, I gotta wash her every day but I settled for once a week, sometimes every other week. And of course the Camaro's black so it looks dusty ten minutes later.

They've even complained that I complained someone opened their door on my mirror and left a mark. They give you a look like the mark is so small it shouldn't matter but if bugs me like crazy

California is in a drought, so i haven't washed my car(s) in months. thats my ongoing excuse for not washing my cars. ha

I TRY to wash it once a week. But since I live in a townhouse it's kinda difficult to do. :( I have to use the crappy u-wash places and I refuse to use the brush.

That's ok though OP. I was outside for 9 hours yesterday washing, vacuuming, cleaning out, painting my intake, intake tubes, engine cover, fuse cover and then I wet sanded some scratches that some females left on my hood a few days after I got it. I then spent a good hour or so waxing and analyzing it from every angle. I'm sure they all thought I was nuts, who cares? You're BA for driving a BA car!

Yea. Once a week at least depending on weather and such. Its garage kept. Its white, but i can see dust after a few hours of sitting.

What really gets the neighbors is when i bust out the air comp hose to get all the water out of all the cracks and crevices. Oh the looks.

I used to wash mine everyday when i first got it lol. Why not? it gets dirty and you want it nice so do it lol, plus you're not bothering people cleaning it you're taking your time not theirs to clean it

One of the issues nowadays is people are more concerned with what everyone else is doing, instead of thinking about what they themselves are doing. If I want someone's advise I will ask for it!

And I do wash my car weekly.......whats it to ya!

Speaking of, a bird deuced on my hood at work last week, was only on there for an hour or two, already burned into the clear. Makes me wanna play duckhunt.
