Only JantzenOKC has a set of the rods. It seemed like a good idea at the time to test the waters, but I just don't see the demand being there to justify producing more. Plus these rods as they were made will not work with stock pistons, which scares a lot of people off. But I don't know why you would change the rod and not change the piston, and no one makes off the shelf forged LFX pistons anyway, so it's going to be a custom piston regardless.

At current time, I do not plan to have more rods made, and do not plan to pursue having custom pistons made.

Looks like I have some special rods. They sure are nice looking, and should be a lot stronger than the factory powdered rods. I can't wait to get the pistons so I can get my machine work done and assemble this thing!

Sucks that you don't want to make any more, but if you do.... I'm in.

If JF doesn't want to make them anymore I know that Revhigh can supply them for the LLT and LFX.
http://www.revhigh.com.au/

Have a set on my boosted V6 and they are lighter than factory.

Nice. I'm also considering contracting some aluminum flywheels and/or forged pistons out if the price is right, and I'll also inquire about forged rods if we can't make headway through these avenues.

If I decide to do any of this, I'll make sure to post here with progress and specs and such.

At 31, my Google-Fu prowess must be degrading, as I swear I scoured the net for clutch/flywheel options for our LFX. I'll give it a look! And thanks for all of your contributions, I see you being helpful all over the forums, even though I'm a new member.

I suppose if there was enough interest I could have a batch made... It's been over a year since the last ones were made, so I'd have to check to see if the pricing was still good to give all the interested parties a price.

If I could get a minimum of 5 people to commit, I would have a batch of rods made. I've already done all the hard stuff on this, all I have to do is pick up the phone and order them. I just haven't wanted to do order more previously because I felt like I'd be stuck with them sitting on the shelf.

Interesting, what power level could these rods handle?
