Gettin my SOLO cats put on

So here I am at the shop waiting for my car to roar off the lift with my new hf cats put on. It should take around 2 hours, but in the mean time I'll be sitting here waiting! Does anyone else have solos on a borla atak catback? Want to give me some expectations, such as a perma-grin? (:

Whos on here, lets get a show of hands and chat to pass the time! Its damn cold! Whos bringin the beer? the suns going down somewhere!

I don't have the high flow cats, but I do have the Solo axle back with J-pipes. I'm very interested how the solo high flow cats sound............can't wait to hear your feedback.

JRT has hi flow cats plus a solo catback. I haven't heard his car yet, but he tells me it's loud. Hopefully I'll hear it this week when I buy his Solo axle backs from him.
Congrats on the upgrade. I'll be upgrading to the high flows at some point myself.

EDIT: JRT's car sounds awesome with the HFCs and the solo catback. It's loud, but not obnoxious.

I have HFC attached to Thorley Tri-y longtubes. Sounds great. I have thought about removing them since no one looks when inspecting. I think they are restricting my MOJO!

No seriously, I think I hear sound from them due to the pressure of the Long Tubes. That and the sound from my Halltech keep having me ask if I hear a leak...LOL

@edog I thought I had a leak after they were put on. I heard what I thought was a whistling sound coming from underneath the car and a cel came on.. I took it back in to get it checked out. The code was pointing at the o2 sensors, but it seems that they put the extenders on the front ones instead of the bungs on the back.. I highlighted the instructions for them. It turns out that the whistling was actually squealing. My ac belt is walking off the pulley. I have an appointment on monday with chevy. Hopefully its fixed under warranty.

It is great that it was caught. At the beginning I asked numerous people and had it checked multiple times. It is just the way it sounds. No issues and definitely no cel.

Driving it is so much

I am in the same boat. I bought my SS with a borla atak catback system installed. I like the volume and tone but I wish I could hear some lope during idle. Will installing HF Cats get what I want?
