What are the MUST HAVES for this car?
Son is taking delivery of his 2LT RS M6 (silver/black stripes - ordered Jan 10th) this weekend.
I already bought a skip-shift eliminator adapter and a Noah car cover (sorry, Junior, but no room in the garage for this one...already have three in there now). Without getting into all the great bolt-ons one can do (i.e. cat-back, shifter, etc.), are there any other "must have" items that we should consider for this car? Thank you for your suggestions, -Dean P.S. I will probably surprise him around Christmas and tweak the exhausts around that time. |

Is skip shift on the v6 M6? I thought that was only on the v8.

You do not need the skip shift adaptor. It is not on the V6, trust me.
Car wash equipment and a radar detector.

Yes, I have a SS M6 and still need to get a Skip Shift. I understand that a tune won't do anything for the V-6 unless you do other bolt-on (exhaust, CAI, ect.) first. I've been told that GM tune the car as good as possible out of the box. Other then cosmetic additions, exhaust and CAI are where your going to want to start. Although a muffler delete at the local exhaust shop will be cheap and make it sound better, but does little for performance.

The car will only come with two front mats. No rears. The Lloyds are much nicer, but the stock are just fine other than the fact that it only comes with two fronts.
The one thing I'd suggest is the 600rwhp bolt on that I did! http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68456

For me a "must have" was the RS package. I love those wheels and lights!
