Naw, that is out of the question. I have a chronic lung condition and can't change tires or do anything that strenuous any more. My wife is good about going to the track with me and lowering the air pressures, etc., as things that make bend over are the most difficult.

By the way, not looking for pity, it's just the way it is.

Rhino, didn't get it. My ISP has been down most of the evening and I'm guessing they lost some emails in the process. Please send again to jbrown13@windstream.net.

Thanks,
Jeff

UPDATE:

A big thanks to Mr. Nasty, his son and grandson for meeting me at SGMP on Friday night and helping me out.

The first thing they corrected was my burnout. I wasn't getting my tires hot enough and I was pulling too far forward when starting my burnout.

The second thing they noticed was that my car was bogging down every time it shifted gears. We surmise the motor is hitting the rev limiter at the same time it shifts, but that's going to be up to my tuner to fix.

The end result was I did break into the 11s (just barely) and did have my best ever 60' time.

Thanks again Mr. Nasty.

My car has a 3700 converter, 370 gear and it will 60' in the high 1.7's - 1.8's with street tires leaving the traction control on.
Have you tried running it with the TC turned on just to see what it does?
If I try shutting TC off it spins and shifts into second and then bogs. With my DR's I turn of TC and my 60' is in the 1.6's with a little spin still with a better track should get 1.5's. I had a hard time hooking even with the DR's, definitely helps a lot to really smoke em.

Just curious do you have aftermarket trailing arms yet? If not grab you a set of BMR's and enjoy...

They made a world of difference on my launches on low pressure stock tires.

Oh yea traction control off launcing at about 2400rpm.

Yes, I have BMR trailing arms and adjustable toe rods, as well as a suframe and differential bushing kit.
