Talking Valley Of Fire!!!!!

Here in Las Vegas our local club-Southern Nevada Camaro Club, has a yearly cruise through the Valley of Fire. It's one of my favorites, last year we had twenty three cars but due to some rain before we started out some of the local members opted out of the cruise and we ended up with 16....too bad they missed it.

but as usual I really enjoy this cruise. in two weeks we will be doing the Hoover Dam run, we should set a new record of how many camaros we can get on the dam.-

Nice! What a beautiful place and sounds like great fun. Do you have any really good prizes for the person that drives the farthest to attend?

So to be clear, you're going to set a dam record?

Great pics! Nothing like a big group of Camaros.

Great looking event. While I did a cruise myself today, it's 50 and cloudy and windy. Cool colors in the mountains though with the leaves changing.

Is that area also known as Red Rock Canyon?

Nope, but the prize for attending is having the privilege of cruzin with other Camaro aficionados

No it is a totally different place but just as gorgeous, Red Rock Canyon is on the west side of Vegas, Valley of Fire is about thirty miles North East of Vegas.
we have a separate cruise planned for Red Rock Canyon

Just curious. I think it was around 2000, maybe 2001, I was in Vegas and rented an Eclipse convertible to explore the area and really enjoyed the Red Rock Canyon. Awfully hot in the summer though. I remember riding with the top down and the a/c on full blast.

Dang, we were fortunate enough to fly over that area on a helicopter last year, gorgeous. I was thinking the whole flight of how nice it would be to cruise through there in the Camaro. May have to try to drive out there next year to check it out. Would be fun.
