I'm running TR7IX plugs. I feel once you past 10psi go ahead and drop from the 6 to the 7 plug but I wouldn't say that's concrete.

Would you see rear slippage with an 3.0 8 rib front on the jack shaft style 2300 ?

I am running TR7IX plugs at a peek of 10 psi at about 600 rwhp and they run great.

There rear 8 rib drive slips above 10 psi boost so a cog is necessary to eliminate slip.

We like the overdrive cog because it gives you more range up front.
