Question for MRT 1.0 owners

Got my 1.0 system delivered today. (thanks tradosaurus!) Looking forward to some much needed db's. I've been noticing some talk about replacing the stock h-pipe with an x-pipe, either resonated or not. Wondering if this would be a worthwhile addition...what do you guys think? What would you change about the sound of your 1.0, if anything?

I think it would tone it down a bit, and may even help it if there is some of that minor drone with this system.

Better buy some earplugs!

And try some high temp RTV sealant before you clamp it down to keep it from leaking. Someone also mentioned some type of muffler tape.

Let me know what you think.

Once again you have to tell us about MRT being to loud for YOU... we get it... you don't need to post every day about how you couldn't handle it... and that you had to go back to stock... maybe you should have bought a Prius... I hear they are quiet and get good gas mileage too!

Watch marley's video... you can hear his car like 1/2 mile away... I think everyone understands it's LOUD... well, everyone apparently except you...

At this point you really add nothing of value and are really nothing more than an annoying troll...

You mean I finally got under your skin?

Relax. I'm the best MRT spokesmen they got right now. How many people who love loud exhausts will be screaming (no pun intended) for a MRT 1.0 because of my "complaints"?

I just wanna know when I can get some free stuff since I'm boosting their sales.

Trust me... you will never get under my skin.. you are simply becoming the resident troll and folks are starting to realize it...

You want free stuff... then become a test mule... plain and simple....

The MRT 1.0 sounds great with the factory H pipe. I would run it like that first and see how you like it. I have been very happy with mine and wouldnt trade it for anything else.

Seriously man I see you in every MRT 1.0 thread talkin smack about the sound. how do you think thats boosting sales. Exhaust is one of the mods people are most hesitant to make a decision on because they dont want to waste money on the wrong sound.

INOTimmy bought mine. And I had about 3 other offers.

So I guess sumpins werkin!

Believe me if you want loud MRT 1.0 is the way to go. I find it humorous though that I getting jumped on for commenting that a muffler system is loud when that is the sound that a few people want.

INOTimmy, let me know how it works out for you. Sorry this thread was hijacked by others with an agenda.
