RJ, glad to see you back in the game. Good start with weighing everything. Are you going to be doing much on the performance side of things? ZL1 is a top performer as is, just wondering if your gonna be pushing her much.

Enjoy her!

She won't be a show car if that's what you're wondering. These are just CF pieces I had purchased but not installed when Kaylee's final burn out happened.

I'll probably be starting with the Basica though: CAI, bushings, etc.

I'm hoping to get Racing Brake rotors on her eventually - 22 pounds of unsprung weight is just too good to pass up.

Was the armrest a laminated piece? If so it's the stock one with CF overlayed and epoxied on, could explain the weight difference. But of course you probably know that

Looking good, especially all of that awesome carbon fiber!

Pretty much yea. My next mod (after I get all the stuff that's been sitting in boxes for the past 3 months installed) will be a Braille battery.

Fire extinguisher is on order too - not to worry

Yep - it's the OEM piece laminated in carbon fiber. I figure I'll be able to lose those 5 ounces somewhere else though, not too worried. Might just take a page out of the Z/28 Owner's Manual: "driver must empty their bowels before driving ." Lol.

Got my showstoppers mud guards yesterday, will be weighing them and installing later tonight or tomorrow.

I also have a surprise coming from Apex Motorsports - don't think anyone has seen anything like these before I'll be doing a DIY on the install and a review after I get some post-install miles on her.
