Suggestion: Rumor mill forum.

I don't browse the forums as much as I used to (only about an hour a day avg now), but I've seen a fair share of people freaking out because of rumors they heard or lack of information pertaining to this car we all know and love. A majority of these posts have come from users with less than 20 posts at the time of making such a thread.

I'd like to motion for a seperate forum to be put in the bottom of the 5th gen category entitled: The Rumor Mill, with a sub category of For all the information you've heard or seen, but not confirmed?

I think this would be a dedicated place where people could express their concern for the camaro being "dead" or delayed "months to years", and it wouldn't disrupt the flow of the more important discussions/questions. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is tired of "The camaro is no more" threads, especially this day in time. What do you guys think? What are your comments/opinions?

It's still about the 5th gen, otherwise I'd just motion to move all the threads there.

Or instead of the rumor mill, it can be known as "The Sky is Falling"....

Although it's a good idea it won't stop people from posting in the general forum. And would probably make the mod's job harder by having to move all the rumors to that forum.

I heard that Camaro5 already has one of these in the works.

It seems like it could become a hot bed for misinformation. If it's in with everything else then more informed members and the mods can squash it for all to see. if we leave it in its own subforum, then it may go unchecked and be accepted as valid.

Not that I'm against it, just a my initial thoughts.

Even Properly labeled as rumors... you know some of 'us' are going to go sideways, get derailed.....etc.
