How much HP do Gill Stripes add?
Seriously I want to get a set of Gill stripe decals for my Ice silver metalic, What do you guys recomend? matte vs gloss? brand x vs Brand y?
Ive looked around online and many companies seem to be selling the same product Also there are two styles one type fits into the recess the other outside and around which ones do you have/recomend

-5hp but if you add fuzzy dice along with these it is a wash since you get 5hp from fuzzy dice.

Anyone have these on a black car ?
I was thinking in matte finish they might look good, but I can't figure if you could see them much.

Dude, I had kids on skates go faster than me. I put on the gill stripes and no troubles. I'm the fastest cat in the valley!!! Mine are matte blacke, as you can see and they are in the recess. These are from GM and they were dealer add-ons. I think the total was somewhere over $300.00. I thought they did a great job, and I wouldn't want to do them myself. I think there are some that are silver or chrome also. Kind of like the old mid-door striping which had 3m double stick tape. Had that on my '72 Nova. Just research, and if your dealer was 'on the up and up', let them do the job.
