Update of recent DIY I have done to the car.

I have recently added a oil drain tank to the turbos to help deal with the oil recirculation issues I've had. Dont know what the hell tracy did but it just not flowing probably. Matt from FSP hooked me up with a friend of his that works for AGP turbo that helped. So now all is good and no more smoking or oil back up.



I also have done the GTO clutch reservoir. I was starting to get the 1-2 grind problem. So I was lucky enough to get one from Sycraft and he brung it to Atlanta when he came down on business last week. Thanks again! After the install the difference was undoubtedly noticeable. The grinding is gone and easier to replace the fluids when dirty. I also used synthetic blend when refilling the brake and clutch reservoir.





I also got a awesome tip from Matt from FSP. Since being boosted it's always seemed like the engine was feeling stressed under low boost. So he told me to pull the check value out of my RX breather. I did so right away and the car felt as it had some extra balls to it. Car also runs smoother across the board. Lil Nasty has recently done the same with similar results.



I have also switched back to stock plugs with a gapping of 32. Thanks to Derrick (Gretchen) clarifying the that this gapping is for stock plugs. Not any that are steps colder. After this change the car is officially running faster, smoother, and boost coming on extremely faster and earlier. Destroyed a modded SRT4 Neon pretty easily.

I haven't seen you on here in a while. I was nervous you might have gone the way of baylorcamaro. So what's the gain from removing the check valve on the breather? why was it there in the first place then? I'll keep an eye out for the video

I actually am going the route Baylor went lol just on a Z/28. Just waiting on final pricing. But the LLT has come along way last few months. It is fun to drive her again. And I haven't even connected the meth kit back up. But if I upgrade not sure if trading in the TT yet. May keep it as a DD. Had to buy the wife a new 2013 Malibu as a bargaining chip lol.
