Placed my order today - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been lurking around this site for over a year reading and learning from all the knowledgeable members. I have looked at the pictures you've posted and admired the mods you have made to your beautiful vehicles, I've even made a friend or two, but today is MY day my order for my 2012 Victory Red with black interior 2SS/RS has been placed. It will have the heritage grille and vented sunroof and the polished aluminum wheels. I am just stoked

I have long wanted to own the 1968 Camaro, however when I got my first glance at the 5th generation Camaro I knew I had to have it. I had to wait while I finished sending my oldest son to College, (he graduated top of his class with 4.0, how proud of him I am would take up too much space to be placed here) but I wait now only for the fine craftsmen at the Oshwa plant to work their magic. I can't wipe the smile from face

I'm just so excited. Thanks to all of you who have posted so much good information. I hope to do the same when my dream car finally arrives.

Awesome, glad to have you aboard. Great site here (if you haven't already noticed). I learned so much about my Camaro during the 6+ months I waited for my Camaro to be built, shipped and delivered. Made a bunch a new friends along the way. It's a great place we have here.. Welcome to C5, Lori.

I'm very excited, its been a great benefit reading the post during my wait it surely has made me a much more informed buyer. I would guess that members of this forum know more then many of the dealers selling this car. Then again they have a lot more cars to learn about then us, but why waste your time with those

So what are you hearing for a arrival date? I too just placed an order today 2012 2SS/RS Convert, IOM, Black Stripes, Polished Wheels, Matching Ground Effects, Satin Fuel Door, Painted Engine Cover, Tonneau Cover & Hurst Short Throw. Missed a 2011 almost exact sold yesterday off the lot. Hopefully the 2012 changes will be worth the wait.
