Yeah I won't either...but I'm on stock cubes and probably won't spray more than 150. So I'm just going to build the stocker.

I have a pretty similar build going on right now on the budget side of it. I'm using the stock block. Everything else being fairly similar except the heads and the throttle body I can't wait to see the differences in our power. Are you going to be tuning it on 91 octane or e-85 and what is your final compression ratio going to be 11.5?

417 4.075 bore
Callies 4.00 crank
Callies rods
JE pistons w/Hellfire rings -4cc
Stock heads milled .030
ARP studs everywhere
Custom cam from Sullivan Inc.
3/8 push rods
LS7 lifters
Trunion upgrade
Stock ported TB
A1000 pump with Aeromotive FPCM
FAST 85lb injectors
Dual roller timing chain and gears
Melling oil pump
Fast 102 direct port 4 solenoid by Nitrous Outlet, 200 or 250 shot
LNC 2000 and CTAP 001
NOS mini stage 2 progressive controller
Stand alone fuel system using C-16, w/91 octane in the cars tank

CR will be 12.3 its mainly going to run on E-85 but will have a 93 tune for emergencies.................. but its just my luck I had to snap a head stud in the block so that is delaying me a little

Nitrous is best when combined with boost.

Nothing like boosting 25+psi through 6766s and having a 250 shot to top it off.

4L80 is the way to go.

I have a RPM built one... I think their highest is stage 7 but mine was actually made with some components to strengthen it... For around 8g it's not that big of a cost if you're looking to build something properly. Don't cheap out on trans especially if you're going to be spraying. The wear and tear is going to be astronomical especially in a 4,000# car.

12.3 is pretty high, I think I will be around 11.4 when I use the factory head gaskets. I can't wait to see your results. BTW I stripped a bolt of the rear of the block putting the trans in so I'm fixing that as well.

Subscribed Glad not only one going with a 416 on Funny Gas. People don't seem too keen on it around here. Wanted to do something different than just hanging another Supercharger on it. We Ran Nitrous on SmallBlocks in the early 80s on many passes without issue.Never grenaded an engine though we did grenade a TH400 There wasn't much to choose from back then. After doing some research with dedicated fuel systems, controllers etc. now available, look forward to doing it again. (Running Gas not grenading another LS3 lol)
