Don't Like it? Suggit.

Probably so expectations aren't set int stone. If they decide to change something, this way people won't already be attached to this look... I

If I had to guess by the MY 2013 the GT500 will be rated at 605ish hp. If not for MY 2012.

and i wouldn't mind the z/28 badges being retro either. but i doubt they would do them exactly as they were, hopefully they'll be the same colors though.

Ford may try to counter the Z-28 when Chevy releases it but recall the muscle car wars of the 1960's and who won that...I have just one word and it is ZL1 (or another COPO).

They will need to step up the power in the LSA if they want to hang with the GT500. It's all about power to weight numbers. When the math is done the GT 500 is quicker.
I think that with some cam and exhaust changes the LSA would close the gap. I also think that it would hold up very well. The idea is to keep the costs down so that the business case doesn't get blown out of whack. Lok at the Challanger, you can't give the SRT Challangers away. The brakes from a CTS-V is a natural. No new tooling and it keeps the costs down. Remember they are in business to make money, not build your dream car for a 20,000 loss LOL Robin

Playing with the pic of the covered side badge in PS, it looks to me like it might be
Super Z28 Charged and the Z28 motif has the Chevy double flag emblem above it. If you had the original image in RAW you could probably enhance it enough to tell. |

if they keep trying to out-do eachother wont the price tag get much higher and potential market get much smaller? there arent a whole lot of people capable and willing to spend 40grand(most likely more) for a model that will be outdated in a year or two.

Wow 4 exhaust tip! This is something.. I suggest they keep the dual tips for the V6 only!
