Matte to Gloss interior

Hi all maybe I'll get more feedback from this section. SO to the point, I messed up on 4 trim parts out of the 6 I want to DIM . These parts I messed up on are the 2 Lower Trim panels where the center console is, and the top trim line going across the dash and one off to driver side. The other 2 I want to get right are the door panels. Moreover, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about this step by step
Ex : 1. Clean w/ pre-wipe 2. Sand w/ 120 for x amount of minutes 3. pre wipe again before primer 4. sand over primer w/ 220. Something along these lines
I appreciate your time and help all!

Here are the materials I have available :

The Paint Cans consist of (2) 2-1 White Primer, (2) Olympic White , (1) Protective Clear Coat Finish, and (1) Adhesion Promoter & Tie-Coat. ( Going to get Pre-Wipe / primer / sanding spray to clean off before process)

The Sanding Grits consist of (1) 120 , (1) 220 , (1) 400 , (1) 600. Each one contains 3. I also have (1) 60 & (1) 80 grit as well if applicable.

Here's the pictures of the products.

I think you are on the right track. The console pieces need to be sanded smooth to get the grain look out. The trim is actually painted on the backside to get that really shiny look with some depth. I would use sandable primer then primer sealer. The dupli color perfect match is great but the clear coat is not durable and doesn't give the best shine even if you sand it up to 3000 and buff it. I will say napa has a really good price for finish1 clear if you have a spray gun. Other than that I would find a more durable clear coat. Pm me if you like. I'm not what you call a professional but I have painted lots of parts. Oh that adhension promoter is a great ideas.

William I forgot to mention that the trim on the dash is actually clear and the paint is on the back. that what gives it the clear look (Translucent). The problem is you will need to remove the mounting bracket, its attached with 1" wide double sided 3M tape. Then you would have to remove the old paint. Now here is where the adhension promoter comes into play because it clear spray. you might have to apply the paint directly without the adhension promoter. You could go the easy route and just paint the outside and clear it. cheaper and easier.

after your last clear coat let it cure copmpletly then hit it with a 1500 or 2000 grit wet sandpaper and a paint polish to get the pieces crazy shiney
