Rusty rotors are easily fixed.
0 -200 - 0 breaks local and state laws. I would never dream of placing others in harms way, not when Highways traveled at odd hours are void of traffic bystanders and lawenforcement ppl who have better things to do.
one six one was a happy quick pick number on the lotto this week.

The 3.6 "smilie" sig cracks me up brother!!!!

AC chiller?!?!?

It's coming along nicely. Need the DSS 1-piece alum driveshaft with the pumpkin upgrade. 3.91 would be a good compromise gearing.

I know, i know....if i talk about it, it won't work, or not come true. I'd hate to "jinx" myself, but the chiller is looking like a pretty niffty little "add-on" for us KB folks.

The DSS 1 piece is on the short list. A 3.73 was my first choice...
hmmm....
Which reminds me, i need to be looking at some safety loops this week....

Nasty, filthy, axle pics coming next week!!I can almost hear the clutch saying "help me, help me...."

Check out METCO. Bolt in solution. I made a thread on it in drivetrain section.

If you go 1 piece driveshaft, BMR/metco loops probably need modifications. Loop may be at the joint instead of shaft due to design change.

Damn, it's sad I thought about this... Prediction of things to come?

Cool. I really like the metco loop! No drilling, no pulling DS out.
But the DSS 1 piece should work fine with the metco, unless i'm missing
something, it looks like the loop would clear. Even at 9 pounds, it's still
a nice piece.

So i went to see John, at Atlanta Performance and Fabrication this week...
He had this set of DSS 1400 axles waiting for me...

So John and Josh put my car up on the lift and dropped the rearend.

They replaced all of my old stock bushings, and installed my new axles.

Plus i had them install my new trailing arms, toe rods, and rear coilover's while we had all this stuff on the floor.

BIG THANKS to Josh and John!!!
They are some of the best folks to work with! John let me hang around and turn the wrench once or twice!!!

The front needs another 1/2 inch drop or so to make it juuuuuuust right!
I'll try to work on the front drop and line lock this week...

So yesterday i adjusted my Pfadt coilovers.
Driving back from Atlanta Performance & Fabrication(thanks for the help John) i noticed the uneven
road alot more than when i was stock. Not kill your kidneys bad, but there
was a change.
So i weighted the Driver's side with what my fat ass would be, and took
measurements on all the corners. The rear needed to go up 1/2 inch, and the front needed to go down 1/4. The weight of me being in the car was 1/8 so i added that to Driver's side. Making the coilover's sit at JUST the ride height i wanted was cake. So i moved on to the dampaning adjustment, went to full stiff, then back all the way to comfy street.
WOW!!The car rides so much better now! When i drive over uneven pavement, the car tells me it's uneven, but just enough to say "crap road, but i got this..." I was a tad bit worried the solid subframe bushings would send a ton of road noise to the cabin, but it's not bad really, a 4 out of 10. But it's a good trade off for the way the rearend feels now!!
It's night and day. Before i had bad wheelhop, and it felt all over the place when i hammered it, but now, it just goes. I truely feel like the car's power is now making contact with the road, i love it!!!
So here's a few new pics to show the new stance. I like the rake, but had to play a tad high(er) in the front due to my steep driveway but i believe
it's a good compromise.

I'll try to get a few better pics next week.
