headroom difference in coupe vs vert with top up

Has anybody sat in one of the vert's with the top up to compare to the coupe for headroom? the published interior specs say the vert is .4 inches higher, but i wonder how it really feels. At 5'10" i was just too close to the top in the coupe.

I searched the forums and the MT article, but didn't find details on this. if it has been discussed i'm happy to view the link to that if supplied.

I'm 6'3"... and bought a coupe.
Have no idea what you're talking about, as I've got plenty of room.

I agree with everybody else here, I'm 6'2" and fit just fine. Sounds like you don't know about the seat adjustment yet if you're head is close to the top.

I'm 6ft and yeah with the seat all the way up we have headroom issues on bumps. Lower the seat down and perfect.

5'10" in a coupe should be no problem at all, but to answer your vert question, I think Number 3 will chime in.

Although I haven't seen the dimensions, I believe there is no loss of headroom in the convertible.

The convertible is very close to a NON Sunroof coupe as far as headroom based on my observation. I would go as far as suggesting the convertible might have just a bit more headroom, but if there is, it's just a small amount.

But if you can fit in either coupe (sunroof or non sunroof) you should have no proglem with the convertible.

No joke guys. Headroom can be an issue for people generally over 6' in these cars depending on torso length. I'm 6'3 and I specifically bought a 2SS/RS without a sunroof so that I'd have enough head room. With a sunroof and the seat adjusted all the way to the floor, my head would still rub. I reclined the seat, and to make enough clearance possible, having the seat reclined back that far just wasn't comfortable.

As stated, the 'vert should have headroom dimensions to the non-sunroof coupes, and with the top down, it's unlimited

I'm 6'2", do like I do, open the sunroof, pop your head out, and drive Freddy Flintstone style. Good times.
