What are your goals? Plan to stay NA or FI? Target HP Range? Where do you want it-down low up top or linear?
Need more info. |

I think the NF is about an all around good cam that can even be used with some boost in the future if you go that way BUT a proven NA cam as well. It's easier drive ability and tuning wise.

I think picking one is just hearsay, until you see both cams tested on a good repeatable dyno(engine dyno would be best) under controlled conditions. There is generally not alot of magic to be found between different cams that have similiar lift, durations and separations. I would pick which ever one I could get the best deal on myself.

I've always there video taping Campers tuning of the NF cam since he was out of state. I saw the numbers it was putting down and witnessed the tuning process. It laid down some pretty damn good numbers on the dyno of broken dreams lol.
The NF and G6x3 are two totally different cams and I would not get the one that has the best deal, I would pick one that is going to meet your needs and goals. Good luck finding engine or chassis dynos for that matter getting tuned back to back at your local shop lol.

Little88, Lets start by posting the specs on both cams, and their installed centerlines. I'll break down the opening and closing points at different centerlines and we can have a technical discussion on the effects of each valve event.

Sure if you'd like, good luck finding them for these 2 cams. If you have them have at it.
I'm not parading anything, sorry your feelings are hurt but your saying you'd rather just pick a cam that has the best deal? What kind of advise is that for new folks here. I wouldn't recommend a G6x3 for someone's first cam though. Especially "if" the OP has an auto. It's not an easy tune and depending on your gears and stall drive ability is gonna be a MF'r. Gears on an M6 would be a BIG plus. It's just me looking at the bigger picture.

I'd love to get you babbling about valve events again. Here we go. I don't think I ever rounded up the actual centerlines. . Lethal Racing Night Fury 231/242, .617"/.615", 113 LSATSP 231/236 231/236, .641"/.615", 112 LSALG G6X3 235/244, .647"/.612", 111 LSA
