Great day at the Russ Beach Airport near Smiths Falls, Ontario.

Conditions were a little on the warm side (32C) but otherwise ideal. For an inaugural event this was a smashing success.

Peter O'Blenis, the Smiths Falls Flying Club and the army of tireless and helpful volunteers put on a unique, well organized and fun event. A big to all of them.

C5 was represented well by tpower, luckynuts and stratman2ssrs. There was a great variety of cars spanning the whole spectrum of afford ability, power and beauty.

The day was capped off by a dinner debrief that had Karen and I crying tears of laughter pretty much the whole evening. What a great bunch of people to know and party with.

CDNSS was also around with his son Jamie running his BMW coupe in the event. Nice ride Jamie. It was a pleasure meeting you and good luck with the new job. As always, good talking to you again Steve. We're sorry you couldn't make the dinner.
