I currently have a tune in my vehicle using an SCT hand held to support my mods in my signature and overall the car runs great. My problem is I can get through Emissions as most folks have read in my other posts. In TN all readiness monitors have to be in the "Ready" state without a CEL. I am currently getting all the way down to the 02 Sensors resetting and I am either getting a P1133 or P1153 code at that stage in the drive cycle. This has happened a few time and I have driven over 1000 miles trying different tunes and anti-foulers to try and prevent the codes. I think the problem is the SCT can only do so much and it's going to take HP or EFI Live tune to acheive what I need done.

Ted should be able to help you.

It can be tuned to pass a readiness test.

No doubt Ted does awesome work, but it seems like the SCT is limited on what can be adjusted on it. My problem is that I have been driving on expired tags for over a month now. I wasn't sure if this would have ot be done with HP or EFI live vs. SCT.

there is not way you can pass a test with a decent cam.

Cam will pass with out any issues. It the LT and movement of the 02's that is causing the issues. I strongly believe as well as others that I may have to have someone with HP or EFI Live to tune it.

Thanks for all the folks that have been sending me PM's and this is no way a thread that is bashing or downgrading anyone's capabilities. Like I have stated in other posts the car runs way better than it did from the factory it's just the emissions problem that I need to get behind me.

Have you called trifecta?.. slowhawk is a good tuner as well... I usually look for a local shop..... then do mail order\

I can get ANY of these cars to pass readiness tests!!! Put the biggest Cam you can find in there along with a turbo,supercharger, whatever. It will pass when I'm done.

Search this forum and LS1 tech for a good local tuner. Most of the decent tuners know what to do.

We don't mailorder due to it's never 100% correct for the car. Bother's me knowing this.
