Fuse pull help??

I am fairly new to this, but I have heard people talk about pulling the fuse for the npp (dual mode exhaust) what exactly does this do? Also, any danger in damaging anything if you pull the fuse? Lastly, where is the fuse box and what number is the fuse, it's a 13 2ss/rs manual. Thanks

Thanks, Scott.

F8 is the fuse located in the right side of the trunk underneath the carpet. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
