air intake or black rims..performances or looks
i was think about getting one or the other.... for know until i save some more money up.
this shop can get me a CAI and a tune for about 750. or i can get my rims power coated black for 500. i have tints and smoked taillights, so my car looks great as it is, but the black rims would be pretty cool... with the CAI and tune. i would have about 450HP total HP. its a nice number with better gas millage and the engine would have a little nicer sound... its kinda of a hard decision for me. i keep going back and forth. performances or looks |

CAI
I want fun first, then looks. Personally, I prefer a stock appearance. |

you already have 426 hp. unless you track the car regularly, the other 24 hp won't be necessary and probably not significantly noticeable....do you use all 426 hp now...probably not. i would go for the looks. Also if you tune the car, you say buh bye to certain warranty work as well.
your car your decision, my .02 Enjoy your ride |

Black rims are way too played out. Performance.

Intake
Then save up for long tubes. The stock Camaro SS wheels look great the way they are. |

if you're worried at all about your warranty, get just a CAI and get the rims done. If warranty isn't an issue...go for power. You can always flash back the stock tune if you have issues (it's not like your bolting on a supercharger or anything).

Definitely get the appearance the way you want it first. Rims.

CAI and a tune WILL make a lot more noticable power that you feel all the time , the rims you cant see while your driving so rims come later
