In '69, you could order your COPO 9560 with a suspension option known as the "Sports Car Conversion"...COPO 9737.
In the COPO Camaro reveal at SEMA, the Part # on the COPO "crate" was 20129562... 2012 = Model Year 9560 = '69 w/ZL1 engine 9561 = '69 w/L72 engine 9562 = '12 NHRA-ready racer Z/28 as a ZL1 trim level? Where are my nitro pills?! |

Hell, who could afford the exrtra $130-odd bucks, after shellin' out the $7,300 for the Base car?! Shows the TRUE intent of the original...1/4-mile at a time, with a gentle turn onto the return road... |

CamaroCollection.com is not a General Motors website. They sell GM licensed clothing and accessories, but so does Camaro5Store.com

Yes, but I'm pretty sure they don't have to approve of the product description

I'd like to see an OddBall 2012 Z28 with a Twin Turbo V-6 or a Turbo 4 banger with a 2-speed PG and 4.56 rear...

Are they still around? If so the value must be off the charts.

GM is very protective regarding licensed product. If they don't like it they will make it known. Then again they may have approved it. All of us that are looking for the 5th Gen Z/28 should buy a sweatshirt. I just ordered one for my wife. It can't hurt to let them see our interest in the Z/28, especially when the hoodie is kind of cool.

Its a shirt that says "Z28" on it, with Camaro tossed in a couple times. Whats odd about that? Its not as if the shirt itself has "All new 2012 Z28" plastered across the chest or anything.
