Exactly. There is a guy around here with an '03ish V6 Mustang. He put on every SVT Terminator Cobra body piece he could muster except the hood. He comes to car shows, refuses to pop the hood and puts a hat over the automatic gear shifter. Lame.

This is why they don't sell Z/28 parts unless you have a Z/28. Wish the would have restricted the ZL1 fascia as well.

I thought I heard somewhere that badges add hp..... Does this mean the people that take off the ZL1 badges are trying to clone the SS???

For all of the time and money that "Fool" spent on making a ZL1 clone out of an SS he could have almost had a "REAL ONE"!!!

That wouldn't bug me one bit. Just like it doesn't bug me that many 6 banger guys put ZL1 conversions on their rides. I know what I have and the folks around me do too. That's all I care about.

I hate it when people without hair have toupees, and dont disclose to everyone they meet they are wearing a toupee.

Yep. Poser, but at least he said it was a clone.

See clones all over the place. Especially, the late 60's cars.

It's false advertising, buy what you want and/or can afford. If you try to make it look like something more than it is most people (myself included) will laugh at you.....
"Most people" aren't educated as to what the differences are between the different models.

Badging a car as something it isn't is not my cup of tea but it's not my money so whatever.

"Upbadging", never heard that term, I like it. Is that a Filibusta original?

Kinda like a guy who was a cook in the Navy saying he was a seal. Stolen Valor, or in our case "stolen power". Lol

And how do you know that it's not a Ferrari that looks like a Fiero ?
