I ordered this car back when we did the pre-order's (oct-nov?). I have been insanely excited to get it. I have even been excited for all of those who recieved theirs (not so much those who ordered a month ago and have one now, thats kinda s!&**y). But enough is starting to be enough. My dealership never has information, and I had to practically twist his arm to get the order number (NDPQMT, which I have memorized by heart).
My dealership was specifically told that they would have their first allocation built in the beginning of June....then the weeks started rolling by.
This car has been sitting at 3000 for over 2 months now. I have a strong suspiction that I won't even see it before October. But you know what? I'm not even sure I want it anymore. All the excitement has just burned out of me, and it sinks in every few days I have to listen to someone I can barely understand on a phone tell me "the car is going to be built, we just do not have a tpw at this time....".
Seriously, this entire pre-order business has left the worst feeling in me, I cannot remember the last time I was ever let down this bad. I don't know why I want it spend this kind of money towards a business who obviously does not care about their customers. I know my money is pocket change to these people, but its kind of the principal at this point. I just feel so let down, I don't even check with the dealer in excitement anymore, I call just waiting to be pissed off even more...
Sorry if you find this rant silly, I just needed to vent I guess. Every time I hear someone say they ordered a few weeks ago and now they have one, or someone complain they just ordered and it isn't here yet, it just makes me feel fired up. I don't know anymore if I will get this car, there are alot of other ways to spend close to 40+, and they won't leave me with such a horrible feeling....

I would have thought all early orders would have been filled by now???

pre-orders did'nt mean shit i'am sorry but i'am a pre-order i thought i would have been before others but that not the case.when i talk to the dealer or the 1-800 use less # they feed me some line of shit.i was told i had a tpw of 6-29-09 i guess i'll have to wait to see if it happen's

My guess is you weren't part of the early order....you just were added to the follow on list...check your Work Bench order at the dealership for the above early code.

All pre-orders will be delivered by September was the official word last I heard. If you're like anyone else that was in your situation on the forums, you will probably change your mind when it shows up. Either way, I hope you get your car soon.

22k and some Camaros built, yet not all of the 16k or so pre-orders arent built, that isn't right.

I know the OP's feelings, going on almost 3 and a half months and out local dealer still doesn't have anything we can sit in,let alone look at. That Mistubishi Lancer rallyart is looking pretty tempting again.

4 cyl for 13 grand... I'm done with 4 cylinders unless it's a Rb26DETT redtop. At least got for like a Mk IV supra or something.
