How did that happen? Didn't you just buy that car?

No I'm
The original owner. But I did just put the blower on. Very mild setup. Should've had WAYYYY more than enough fuel. Just got a weak engine from factory I suppose. 3/4 throttle. 6,000 rpm.

Rooommmmmmm pop pop pop pop. Knock knock knock knock........

That's why, whenever I get something done to my car, I always try to data log it. Its just too hard to look at all those gauges when your holding on to the car.

Sorry to hear about this man, do what I did and forge your internals. Then turn up your boost!

Well I got it back the day before from ADM. Had to go back because it was running super rich. And my o2 sensors were bad. So he fixed all that. Ran it in dyno. Double check everything. He even ran it once more when I picked it up just to watch them again.

I'm praying it's valvetrain collapsed lifter. But highly unlikely.

Engine options are forged 417 shortblock he can get me for $5k. Lsx376 for $7600 is what I'm
Kind of leaning towards. That 50k warranty is catching my eye.

IF ADM had it, then I'm sure your AFR was good. Honestly there is no need to go LSX, unless your planning on some 4 digit horsepower numbers. Hell even at that a built LS3 will meet your needs man. IMO do the forged LS3 and put the money to something else.

Well I'm hesitant on that because that 417 will push a lot of power. I don't want to go over 600isj wheel. Then I'm pushing the clutch. And the fuel system

It will only push as much power as the boost you put to it, if you leave your boost alone, you will gain some power, but not enough to stress your components. IMO

BTW It could be valvetrain like you were saying, that really don't sound 100 percent like a rod.

Hope so. But it sounds rood deep in the block in person personally. But I don't know a whole lot about engines just simple stuff.

If it it's valvetrain I'll replace the whole thing. LPE CNC heads. Lifters. Can. Trunions. Oil pumps. Valves. Springs. Pushrods. Ect and feel blessed to only spend that much
