Would this happen to be the first RS/SS we've seen? It has the halos, the tail lights look darker too.

I simply said "You're mistaken". As in...you made a mistake. Go outside and breath some LA smog there bud.

Same car as that other white spotted thread. See the scratch in the paint on the trunk?

http://www.pirellipzero.com/ It doesn't show any of those sizes. But only shows run flats in the 18/17/16 sizes the others are listed as extra loads. Wonder? The US Pirelli site that you posted doesn't have the 245/50 R19 size that is listed in the brochure for the Camaro either. I guess GM has a special deal with Pirelli? But it is good to see that the 20's are available in the run flats. Possible change later on. Last edited by dayvedayve; 08-29-2008 at 05:50 PM. |

Pirelli summer tire (front), 275/40 ZR20 Pirelli summer tire (rear)" On pirelli's website, they dont have all the sizes listed. But, I downloaded the data sheet for the pzero(HERE) and it doesn't have both the front size listed, only the rear. But, more importantly, the rear size (275/40ZR20) IS listed as runflat. So unless Pirelli is coming out with a new size (245/45ZR20), I dont know what is going on. The closest they have is 245/45/ZR19, which is too small for the 20" rims on the SS. More good news, the 19' version is runflat, so maybe the new 20" will be too. We can only hope. And another thing, Dave, you are right. The sizes listed in the spec manual and brochure for the v6 are not listed in the data sheets for the pzero tires. This could mean that pirelli has not even publically released the tires being used on the v6 or the front of the v8. Last edited by divvichild; 08-29-2008 at 06:39 PM. |

The runflats have too hard a ride quality IMO. I think this is a V6 because the exhaust outlets look just like the other V6 pics. The SS is supposed to have the larger outlets right?

Correct. The v6 has 3.0" tailpipes, and the SS is supposed to have 3.75" pipes.

Maybe that is why the sizes are not listed with Pirelli yet. |

Shhh...It is a SS not a LS/LT. Dont start that discussion again. The first one stepped on some toes before it was finished. This car is a SS and might even be a SS RS.
