Front Bow Tie Delete

Has anyone purchased a bow tie delete from Yates performance? If so how did it go? Was it a good piece?

Here is reference pic.

The Bowie. The tabs on the back of the Bowtie will kill your fingers!

You just pull and wiggle the bowtie up and down and it will pop out. It tough on Heritage grill though.

Ok, so the ZL1 bowtie is the same piece as the others, but the bottom of the four clips is snapped off(I dont know if it's like that on other models or not), but I got a screwdriver wrapped in a microfiber cloth to loosen the sides, being very careful not to scratch up the grill, which didn't go great, but anyway then used a long piece of metal(like a really long flathead screwdriver or something) to slide down inside the hole next to the hood latch and got the top clip loose that way, and that's how I got my bowtie off.

Which I replaced with a new bowtie, not the piece you are talking about

I've had mine on for almost a year. Looks great and wasn't anything too hard to put on.

I did and it's no big deal. Like said, takes 10 minutes or so and it cleans up the grill quite well.

I recommend it.

15 minutes to install?!?!? It took me a couple of seconds. I just pulled really hard on the bowtie and it came right off, and I didn't break anything. I love my bowtie delete.

It's really easy. You just need to know where to pull from, the taps have edges. It looks like the delete kit is made by Scott Drake.

The Yates piece is actually made by Scott Drake. I have it; looks great.
