2011 SLP 2SS/RS Camaro ZLX-1 of 1 CMS Build Show & Go Car with 3600 miles

$60,000 OBO, that's nearly .50 cents on the dollar spent for a car with 3610 miles, still smells NEW!!!

This was the first SLP (Street Legal performance) Camaro built in California (now located in South Jersey).

Car was ordered as a fully loaded 2SS/RS in October 2011 from Paso Robles Chevy. In the meantime I was working with the West Coast head honcho of SLP to have the SLP TVS 2300 Supercharger, Loud Mouth II Exhaust & X-Pipe ready while they found the car. I didn't want all the SLP (Overpriced) bells & whistles, as I knew Cunningham Motorsports would be doing the full build from ground up. Rear Wheel HP goal was 650-700 safely, and to do so almost every stock piece had to be swapped out. The build took roughly 13 months and 1100 miles were put on the car while it was stock waiting for SLP to ship the parts. So actually the Maggie has 2500 miles on it and many of the performance parts have even way less miles on them. For instance, the McLeod Twin Disc RXT clutch just finished the break in period of 500 miles, as did the GForce 1000 HP axles. Supercharger has 3 year/36,000 mile warranty and the Camaro still has it's basic bumper to bumper warranty. Drives like stock until your right foot goes down, then the party begins!

The car was built to handle power & be as bullet proof as possible, addressing any and all questionable issues that could arise from the increase in HP. It was built with an open checkbook and I have many parts that haven't even been put on the car yet, mostly cosmetic, with the exception on Granatelli Extreme Slotted & Dimpled Rotors & Hawks HS pads which I may have installed this week.

I have receipts totaling in excess of $60-65K, besides the $40K sticker price. All of which are in a 4" binder with plastic sleeves and I have 100s of pictures on file of the build. So you can see I have well over $100K into this vehicle and it shows. The car has been in GM High Tech Performance Magazine (April issue), Camaro Performers (May Issue) and was selected out of over 5000 cars to be featured on display indoors at the GM Nationals in Carlisle, Pa with 30 other cars representing different eras, with mine being the latest model, and already asked to return for 2014 (Letter in hand)& 3 1st place trophies out of 3 car shows

Kelly Blue/Black Book values the Stock version of the car by private seller at $35-36K in Excellent Condition (which it is), and in checking dealership pricing that's around where they're selling them for, except none have as low miles as this one.

Here's a synopsis of the build, pictures and videos:

Sub $40s??? There maybe a half a dozen cars on this forum with the mods done to this car.

KBB value on an Excellent condition STOCK 2011 with 3600 miles is $34-36K, so about $5K for $60,000 worth of mods Do you realize that there's about 10% of this car that's stock? Break out your calculator if you want to see justification of the price, it's nearly 50% off what it cost to build. Do some research amigo, better yet buy a new one for $40K and then build it just like I have and see how much it cost.

You'll get it. It won't be fast but you'll def get it. Since you are not in any rush patience will be your best friend. The car is immaculate and that word prob doesn't do it justice. Not to mention is has all the top of the line parts. I doubt the buyer will be off this forum but the word of mouth will help. If I was just starting now this would be the way to go.

I KNOW YOU KNOW what you're talking about and how much it cost to build a car, and I know you have 6 figures in yours....Some people have no clue whatsoever

You should get the $55-60k you're looking for. People with money, 1. Don't want to wait to have all that stuff done, 2. Want it mint and not abused, 3. and they realize the score they're getting. DuPont Registry or something like that. For sale sign at a big car show. The market may be small but its def there.

Not to mention you have everything document it.

The only issue may be is that you're in the north east and winter is approaching quickly.

Hahahaha, laughing my ass off at the comment saying sub 40's. That's flat out stupid. John, you can and will get your asking price. It's more than fair and hold out to get that price. It's a fantastic car, built right, and worth every penny. Good luck my friend!! I'll spread the word for you.

All good points, I should've sold it before I left Cali in May. Looks like the C7 will have a bunk buddy if that's the case. But I do have a nice offer from FLA, and this is that one last shot for someone, but like you said, the buyer won't come from this forum. Cars like yours & mine are the 1%ers

!
You'll get more for your car than I would ever mine. Anyone looking to race isn't going to buy a 4250 lb car. Not to mention my car isn't nearly as minted out as yours. I would think I could get mid to uppers 40, tops.

Ms what's it to you. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay. Honestly if I had seen this car 2 yrs ago I would have bought it and saved myself 30k. My car is still not right and I've got a fortune in it. If you don't like the price move on. What's it to you if he asked for 150k. Your not buying it so why do you care! By the way op awesome car. Good luck with sale.
