How do you close the trunk without touching the paint?

If it bothers you that much get a microfiber towel made into a glove and just keep it in the glove box. Maybe they even make such a thing.

but same applies to the doors, i never close my door by touching the paint, I place one or 2 fingers on that black strip under the window and push it closed from there...

then everyone in my passenger seat puts there fingerprints all over the glass window and paint ... and they dont understand why I care so much

I put my hand flat around the curve of my trunk lid and close it.

Is this a serious question? If so simple answer is never open it, then you don't have to worry about how to close it.....

Really now there are much worse things that touch your paint than fingers.....I think some people just need to chill and stop worrying so much about silly things like this.

I never open my trunk, so i don't have this problem.

Then just close it by the bowtie.
