If you're doing the same... do yourself a huge favor and DON'T drop a nut when putting the outboard nuts on. You may never find it.

Oh, and do a slight twist on the included instructions (which are REALLY good otherwise BTW!). Put the new lights in, get everything hooked up.... THEN install the resistor packs.
If you put them in first per the instructions, it gives you far less room to get your hand into an otherwise already really (!!) tight space.


I'm going to wire the 'show mode' lead into my under car LED's controller. Then I can use the remote to turn them all on at once!
Going to replace the front turn signal bulbs with LED's tomorrow now.

We got our new tail lights a month ago and love them. They should come standard on all 2013's.

So far today I took it in to the dealer to have the air box replaced that had a tab broken off. Took them a total of 30 minutes from the time I got there.

My ported throttle body is on the UPS truck to be delivered today sometime, hopefully the rain will stop long enough for me to install it. With my luck UPS won't get it here until late this evening.
(Edit) I got my ported throttle body on last night and tried it out, it is great, no more lag in it any more. I did not realize how bad it was until now. If you have a 2012 V6 LFX I recommend spending the money to get the VMax PTB.

On a side note the dealer had 3 Sparks in stock, man for less than $13,000 I would definately take one of those before a Smart Car, or an IQ. They look better in person than in the pictures.

Ok, it was last night, but....

I had taken my tail light trims off to install the 6701 LED's. Black chromed them.
While they were drying, I left them off of course.

Well, I put them back on and thought... damn... they looked better off!

So, I took them off again last night. It DOES look better!
Maybe because it's a black car? Not sure.
