It was said last year before Camaro5fest 1 that it was Moving to the west coast for number two, With that said next year it will be in a new place and some of the west coast members will not be able to make it.

But if you can come out with or with out the car, We west coast and the Texas members will be Happy to meet and see you.

well looks like I'm SOL...I understand the "moving the location" thing every year to accomodate everyone & I agree with it, but this just sucks. I bought my Camaro about 2 weeks before the C5fest last year & couldn't go. Looks like I'll hope for next year to be a more reasonable drive.

31 hours 18 minutes / 2042.51 miles is just too much for me. That's about $400 round trip just for gas.

For those that are ONLY worried about miles and not necessarily time off, take it from all of us from last year when we say it is completely 100% worth it. For most (if not all) of us, Camaro5Fest was the best weekend of our lives. I said from day one, I don't care where it is this year, I'LL BE THERE!! I'm ready for another amazing road trip full of new sights, new opportunities, and lots of new friends!!!

Just use Chandler, AZ. That will give you a good idea.

I did that drive in June, coming back from Mobile, Al at the end of the Power Tour. Just keep in mind, in West Texas on the I-10, the speed limit is 85 & wide open out there. We made it from San Antonio, TX to Phoenix, AZ in 1 long day.

With that being said. If the west coast does not represent and bring in larger numbers than last year, I honestly don't think it will ever come back to the west coast.

So come on west coasters, let's get our numbers up. Those traveling from farther away, I can't wait to have you all out here and show you guys how we do it on the west coast. No matter what, this will be a fun year.

Hope to see everyone there.
Just curious why there has to be more cars then last year to be considered a sucess.
