DEI RELEASED C5 Remote Start Bypass
http://www.xpresskit.com/VehicleComp...amaro&ps=1&s=0
Here is a link to the new bypass that was just released for the camaro. I am going to put it in my car hopefully this weekend. Here is what all that it will do. For anyone doing like a 5902 or any alarm this will make it so much easier because it works via data. Also it will control the aftermarket alarm VIA factory key fob. 2010 Chevrolet Camaro: CANMAX400 - CANMAX400 Multi Function Programmable Vehicle Interface 400.GM10 0.01 W2W DL-Arm Factory Security DL-Disarm Factory Security DL-Door Lock Control DL-Door Unlock DL-Driver Priority Unlock PK-Universal RF Bypass- Key Req'd RS-Accessory Activation RS-Ignition Activation RS-RAP Shut Down (Remote ACC Power) RS-Start (Crank) Activation RS-Tach / RPM Output SS-Entry Monitoring ALL Door Pins SS-Entry Monitoring Hood Pin SS-Entry Monitoring Trunk/Hatch Pin D2D DL-Arm Factory Security DL-Disarm Factory Security DL-Door Lock Control DL-Door Unlock DL-Driver Priority Unlock FOB-CAN Alarm Control w/ FOB remote PK-Universal RF Bypass- Key Req'd RS-Accessory Activation RS-Ignition Activation RS-RAP Shut Down (Remote ACC Power) RS-Start (Crank) Activation RS-Tach / RPM Output SS-Entry Monitoring ALL Door Pins SS-Entry Monitoring Driver Door Pin SS-Entry Monitoring Hood Pin SS-Entry Monitoring Trunk/Hatch Pin ST-Brake Status (foot brake) Last edited by strauchpete; 06-23-2010 at 10:36 AM. Nice, but the thing that kills it for me is the fact that it still has a universal bypass in it. I'll wait till I see one with a data bypass so I don't lose a key for remote start.

I talked with DEI today, dont think that is going to happen any time soon. They said something about can only program an additional transponder from the dealership so there is no way for them to set up a bypass unless it has exactly the same codes that the factory key has.

Ideally you would use the DB-ALL. Looks like it does everything and does not require you to lose a key.
