Removing cats?
I'm currently running 1 7/8 Kooks headers with cats and a 3" competition series Magnaflow cat-back. I am thinking of removing the cats and installing the Kooks intermediate pipes. Has anybody made a similar change? I'm just curious if it will change the sound of my exhaust. Thanks for your input.

It will make it a bit louder. I'm running 1-7/8LT, no cats and Flowmaster A/T. Sound amazing! Nice and deep, mean growl at aggressive throttle.

I was about to say get a really big dog to chase them away so they don't come near the car.

If you stand behind the car idling with out cats it will burn your nose and your eyes because the fuel is not all being burned. Not good in an enclosed garage. I do have a big cam though so I am sure this makes it worse.
