I beg to differ on that comment...

Heres my video, post your stang video up to compare

And back on topic, hearing the exhaust on the ZL1 , I had to go ..............ummmm.............get some napkins

Guess you'd have to hear it in person.. It just sounds like almost every other SS I've heard with aftermarket exhaust.

Sounds great! Wish he would of mashed the pedal so we could of heard what it sounds like at those higher rpm's. What a tease.

Trust me, I'm sure Scott, John, or AL would have loved gone WOT done the strip that day, but GM policy prevents it...........

But come January 2012, or shortly after you can experience WOT for yourself

I'm guessing based on other things posed, that it's not desired they pound on it like that yet..

As much as I'd love to have watching them actually race it -- I can understand why they're not.

The car is pre-production. It would probably be fine....but what if it wasn't? What if (since it's pre-production and not tested) there was a weak spot in the rim somewhere? Imagine if something DID fail...how awful that would look.

Also consider it's one of two show-car ZL1s in existance...some bits hand-assembled...imagine the cost for blowing one of those up...

90 year olds, indeed....

Yep and sadly there is a huge amout of liability. If somebody did get on it hard and something broke on this 2nd of 2 ZL1 show cars, there would be some serious lawyering up if anyone was injured.

But I agree, it would have made for great moment. But there are very serious safety protocols for vehicles like this that GM must follow when out in the public domain.

The car is electronically limited to 20mph.
