Brad's BEAST 2011 RS/LT1 CGM
Hey guys! I bought a CGM V6 camaro back in May. I LOVE this car; it makes commuting no big deal. Actually, Camaro5 convinced me to get a Camaro so thank you guys!
CURRENT LOOK Before Splitter was ripped off Current Mods CGM painted Bow Ties & Tail light bezels Big Worm Graphics smoke taillight tint. Gill Stripes Stillen Splitter - Ripped off by a tire in the road Red Interior Trim Lining AAC Afterburners Blacked out all Chrome Removed "Camaro" Lettering V8 Bumper ACC Sidemarkers .05% Tint Flowmasters GM GFX Splitter Red Caliper Covers Future Mods HAVOC Rear Diffuser GM Dove Tail Spoiler Orange Halos Zl1 Grill Well, lets get the pics goin! On the mod side of things, I decided to start small. So i got some carbon fiber vinyl to put on the bow ties, added some gill stripes, and added some red trim to the interior. Then i decided to put a Stillen Splitter on my baby to give it the more aggressive look it was lacking. It added a lot to the car. I was originally planning to buy an SS bumper cuz I don't really dig the v6 bumper, but i know how C5ers tend to look down on making a fake SS or ZL1. But it still might happen in the future. And that's all i have done to her so far. I will be starting college at OU.... BOOMER in the next few weeks so i might not be able to mod until the holidays. Also, im not really a "Car" person, so does anyone have advice on what kind of Exaust system i should get? I want her to rumble and scream when floored, but i dont want it too loud - not DB loud if you know what I mean. Also, any advice on what mods I should do next? Thanks guys for being my inspiration! Looking forward to your comments, Brad Last edited by thebradinator; 05-05-2013 at 10:43 PM. |

Nice car! I see your from FT Worth, and I see Jim McNatt on your bumper. I am from the DFW area as well.
Great looking car, you're off to a great start! One thing you'll learn here at C5 is to do what makes you happy. I did the SS bumper on my LS and love it. It is a HUGE impovement from the V6 bumper. As for exhaust, check out the MRT V2 or the SLP loudmouth 2.0. Both will be an improvment in sound with a nice, deep mellow tone. The 1st version of both will be louder and more agressive. I would also suggest you plastidip your wheels. It's a great mod that is cheap and has a huge impact on the looks of the car. I also think it looks awesome on CGM. Good luck!
