Guages

Sorry if this has been covered before. When i was checking out the 1LT/RS this weekend and deciding on what I want to order. (will be placing order in January since I think I have it all figured out.. lol). I noticed that the 1LT/RS didn't have the center guages down by the shifter. Is this not available in the 1LT?
I thought all Camaro's had it to keep the retro look going.. I guess I was wrong

I am guessing it's just an SS thing or can it be added with an package?

thanks in advance.

It's only for the 2LT and the 2SS models. These two models get all the loaded goodies.

Rumors are strong that the gauges will be available aftermarket sometime next year. I would save the extra change on a 2LT and grab the 1LT. Especially since, seems like the only reason you want the 2LT is for the gauges.

I thought they came with the RS package only? Regardless whether it's an LT or SS...

Worry not, we (some of us at least) are prone to typos.

I know I am! Just poking some fun my friend!

And heated mirrors, and ambient lighting, and a leather steering wheel, and some other goodies

Incorrect, RS package has nothing to do with the gauges. It is a 2LT/2SS thing.

IMHO....the big differences between the 2LT and 1LT are that the 2LT gets leather seats (I don't prefer them) and Ambient lighting. They still don't have the Halo HIDs, 20" rims and Body color molding standard. You have to add the RS package.

In the 1LT, once you get the RS package, the car is still cheaper, but missing the gauges, I can live with that. I would like to have the ambient lighting, but oh well. I am sure I can get that cheap aftermarket, if I really want them. The leather seats, well to hell with them really because first they are actually Pleather and second they get too cold or too hot depending on the temps.
