1970.5 Camaro. Wish I could find a photo of it. Came with the 6 cyl, swapped it out for a 350ci. Miss that car.

Cool

1972 Chevy Vega. Bought in 1983 for $200.
It was the biggest POS anyone had ever seen, and I loved it to death!! It was wheels that meant freedom. I had to do so many repairs to keep it running, but it taught me a lot about cars and responsibility.

'83 red Cavalier. Bought it for $200. Brakes went out on me while driving through an intersection. I was like SH*********T!!! Everything turned out okay, though.

1971 Chevy Nova. I still have it. Started as a 6 cylinder, then 305, 327, and currently with a 355. I got it at 15 y/o and am currently almost 31. Check out my garage for pics.
It needs a better restoratiom as my first rebuild was on a high school budget.

First car

My first car was a1968 Camaro 327 four barrel holly carb/ 4 speed Hurst, Cragar SS wheels with white lakewood traction bars, dark blue metallic white nose stripe. Purchased in 1977 for $600.

Drove 2 years, went through 2 muncie transmissions 2 clutches and 2 sets of rear tires. Put a rock crusher trans in continued to pull 6000rpm hole shots never hurt the motor 60,000 original miles and sold for $800, should have kept ther car!
Own a 2010 LS Orange Inferno 6 speed with the same style Hurst shifter and T handle had in my 68 and will not let this one go!
Unfortunately no pictures of my first Camaro lost them over the years.

OMG I was just going to write the almost exact thing! My Vega was a '72 hatch back coupe, green. 4 speed manual, or was it 5? I paid like $250 for it. The brand new Michellian tires were worth more than that.I loved that car! It used more oil than gas. It was in good shape when I bought it but by the time I sold it the front fenders were flapping like wings LOL, good times.
