Well... almost made it home without incident. I was behind the pack heading to roc/buf and slowed down because I got a strong radar signal from behind. Trooper pulled up on my left rear and sat there for 30 secs ish... then got behind for another min then pulled into a turn around. (Thought We Were Safe).

Well not 30 secs later the radar detector got pinged hard again and I saw the trooper come flying up behind me. This time he pulled me.

He walked up to the car and asked me if I knew why my license plate ran up as a 2007 Honda Pilot. He told me that my registration is right and the plates are wrong, Yay.

I guess he initially ran my plates because he wanted to know the year of the car so he could get the paint for his harley lol. Super nice guy and joked about the whole thing with me, but he def had me nervous when he asked me to come to the back of the car haha

It was great meeting everyone! maybe next time i wont get pulled away from the pack by a trooper

V1LE (hey look, there's Joe, where's Vince, and who's the new guy?) did a great sounding fly-by!
Good to meet you, Arkentect! Hope your extra stop doesn't cost too much, and you're able to join us again. Cruise home with Big Dookie was uneventful, and the wives where able to get some wheel time.
I hear there was 'only' 68 Camaros, but was still a cool sight. I won the award for farthest travel - 5th Gen.

Was he a young black guy? He pulled me out of a line doing about 77. No radar. Must've have been pacing us. Guess it's true what they say about red cars, lol. Anyway, he was a car guy. Before he even asked for my license and reg, between drools, he told me how good the exhaust sounds . Asked some more questions about hp and such and about where we were coming from and going to. Told him about parade and show. Luckily vinman stopped with me so I think that helped. He just handed back my stuff and said slow down a little and be safe. Coolest cop I have ever came across.

I probably will pay for posting this. I should always read the threads more closely. I thought you guys were meeting at the Dewitt plaza on Sat. So we got up early to surprise you guy at the plaza. Got there around 7:15 dad breakfast & coffee. 9:15 no one showed up figured everyone meet some place else and just drove by. Didn't realize it until I read the thread again. [OH WELL]

Anyone hear how many were in the parade? Had to be way more than the 68 in the show. All I know is there were a lot of pissed off looking people sitting in traffic behind the roadblocks for it.
