The only thing I have to add to this from running skinnys up front and radials out back is I gained almost a full second by my tire/ rim change over stock in the quarter. The part that people need to be aware of is this combination is made to go in a straight line not corners .radials up front would maybe be better but I have scared myself a couple of times when a corner comes up and the car would make it easy but the skinnys up front want to go straight .

The handling def goes away with a skinny up front. That's for sure.

I run the 26" M&H radial skinny up front. Handling is fine but braking takes some extra time. I would still prefer a 28" radial tire.

I'm use to run skinnies up front with my Nova.
Ran 28"skinnies and 28"x12.5x15 ET Streets out back.
Drives different forsure,as if you have flat tires in the back with that soft rear sidewall.
But it was cool and we had traction on the street.

I would use the setup for track and maybe a local cruise,so maybe the M&H front will do just fine.

In my 4th gen days I ran all kinds of tire combos, and in front I ran 165 VW tires, M/T ET Fronts and M/T radial skinnies.

The ET Fronts are bias play and smooth. Big drawback is that they are like driving with bald skinny tires. So if you are going fast and start turning, the car might 'push' some.

My wife Daily Drives with DR's and skinny tires and i drive 90 miles to and from the track every weekend. Rough riding but bias tires will hold up and handle fine. Some people just go off what they read on the net. Just don't drive stupid..

I have the M&H bias here, no issues as of yet. Granted they have about 300ft of street use

What's wrong with running the M & H skinny? They are fine driving on the road. And a car with a bias front/ radial back will drag fine. It's when you have bias rear / radial front that the ass of the car skates around at 120+ mph.
^^ this exactly! I have been running a bias front runner and DR on the rear and it drives straight as an arrow!

Yeah again just remember something like an ET Front is completely smooth, get used to them if you have never had tires like that before.
