I so wanna do this but I'm afraid it might be too loud. Just added a CAI and it's made quite a difference sound wise but that is really when you get on it. I want a nice rumble at slow speeds like the 4th gen SS

I have a CAI, V8 M6, stock headers, stock cats, stock resonators, muffler delete. You get a nice low rumble. I'm still not satisfied though so I am adding a Vmax ported TB and magnaflow tru-x pipe soon. It should wake things up a bit more. The biggest thing for me is that I want a nice sound for less money. |

Cool, I will at least go and see how much the muffler shop here would charge me to do it. |

Just left the muffler shop. Said he would do it for $50. For that price I have to. I can always get em put back on or go with a aftermarket setup if I don't like it. Prolly will get it done Monday.

Got it done today. Much much better. This is the way it should've been from the factory. Not too loud at all. Sounds great at all speeds.
Thanks guys! |
