On Monday it's 4 weeks of sitting in Canada doing nothing. My dealer called gm again and said it was about to be shipped but still no confirm of that. This really has been the biggest cluster f I have ever seen. Just and FYI in 2003 I ordered a Toyota 4runner it took 1 month to come from Japan!!!!!!! In 2009 I ordered a ford fusion that was built in Mexico no kidding 24 days from order to delivery. Makes me realize why they did not go bankrupt and gm did. Something is obv wrong with our cars and we should all think about that when we sign those peppers for a 30k plus car

I, as well as many others here have been contently waiting for our camaros as well..Ive been following all the posts over most of the tpws right now..and i must say you have the most negative posts out of anyone..i dont want to click into the thread and read about how you are mad at gm and they should go bankrupt etc etc..im waiting too..sure youl hear me or someone else get a little heated at times..but no one else throwing around the remarks you do.. I can say ive been on the forums for a couple years now, and many people have waited 1-2+ for their cars..the last time i ordered i waited 4 months..everyone wants their cars.. GM is doing EXACTLY what they should by holding these cars for as long as necessary to ensure they are in top shape once recieved..i can say out of everyone who has recieved their 2012- i dont believe ive seen one person with an issue, and i have seen/ know quite a few who have gotten them..Do you really think GM is going to release a car to the public that has a defect/ issue? I dont think so...i think GM is really making the effort to turn the buisness around since the last down fall, by by design, and quality..their shipping process might not land where we want it to be..but were the enthusiasts..the few who really get up for these cars.. Sure others might get shipped out right away..its bewildering to me as to why that happens- but i can say this- i would be somewhat worried if my car came out right away compared to some of these cars that are sitting there.. As for your comments about canceling your order..if you want to, no one can stop you, and with the winter season comming up i would agree its something to consider..but quit slurring GM every time you dont get an update, and let them do their job.. again not meaning to hate on you..just tired of seeing the posts hating on GM when theyre actually trying to make things right..for me, i always be a GM diehard through and through, and i wont ever place my buisness in the hands of another company, unless its a foreign supercar. As for everyone- i hope this is our week to see people start getting shipped etc- It was about a month for the tpw's before us to start seeing movement etc..so i hope our time has arrived..good luck to everyone in the morning, and this week!

I like that Mike! stay positive! thats all we can do. I wish I had my car, I wish that I was the one posting pics of my car, but I don't have my car yet........ I know that gm just wants to send out the best cars they can, so if it is going to take a little while long than thats what it has to be..... I just wish I had my car...thats all nothing against gm. Its just hard watching others enjoy the car when yours is just sitting in canada!

I had a 2010 CGM 2lt/rs..i drove it for about 1.5 years- and then ultimately decided if i was working two jobs/ busting my ass then having what i wanted was feasible- so i was in love with the cgm color and when i found i couldnt get it on the 2012 i was kinda bummed-
I was going to get a 2011, but was torn between the color, or the 2012 changes. Ultimately i didnt make the cut for the 2011's and was forced to pick from just a few colors for 2012- i decided on black- had my doubts at first but after reviewing alot of pictures and seeing them in person..im really starting to come around to the color..very clean looking. Ive been talking to beck for about 6 months now, going back to the time when i first contacted her about an 11' I placed the order for a 2012 Black 2SS/RS w/ hurst. Im having the exhaust and skip shift installed at the dealer, as well as painting the emblems black ( retaining the outer chrome edge) and doing the ss badges in zr1 blue( also retaining the chrome outer edge). I also have floor mats and black/ silver annodized race pedals ready to install, along with parts to do the dual exhaust tip conversion. Other than that.. Im just getting tired of driving a 4 banger..lol.

here is my problem and i am sorry for being negative i view it as practical but a lot see it as me being negative. First i was told Tuesday ships in 72 hours again another lie from GM and my Dealer. second what could they possibly be doing for 28 days? the cars take less then a day to built do lord only knows what needed to be looked at for 1 month. and again i would have ZERO problem if we could get a real answer. i am sure what you all do for a living but if your boss or client asked you for something and you lied to him and delayed for 30 days with out an excuse we all would have been fired after probably 2 days. i FEEL we are going to lose in this process i have a horrible feeling something is wrong with these cars. if its the paint, the BS my dealer told me no red cars around or something else. i am sure GMs intent is to sell cars so there really has to be a reason why they are sitting up there for all this time. i am scared about that plain and simple......no one is telling the truth. "its bc we want to give you the highest quality product" i say BS it does not take 4 weeks to ensure that. again sorry for all the negativity but i have a bad feeling in 2 years we are going to start a new thread called "tpw8/1/11 defects"

Well, they do tell you 6-8 weeks for delivery, and so far, I think everyone is still within that time frame, so I guess we can't complain.
