STRIPES AND SHIFTERS Oh My!

Word is that the angst level can decrease as rally stripes and Hurst shifters will be done at the factory

If true, this is good news. Is this info from a reliable source? I certainly would prefer my stripes to be applied at the factory.

Dealers?

Wonder if it had small thing to do with the delay?

ADI

Quite possibly, Canadian Auto Workers were actively seeking the business in plant and I think it is great that they got it.

So that means we won't be getting to keep our original shifter.

Awesome...now the dealer can't rip my butt for some "unknown" expense!

Much, much happier with the factory doing both!!!

I just emailed my dealer, hoping this is true. Now they can't mess up my black rally stripes!

If this is true, I sure hope they install the shifter with the original leather wrapped knob. (Man I hate talking about my knob in public). Seriously though, I really really want my original knob. I have emailed my dealer several times about it and was not worried because the install was going to happen there at the dealer. Now I feel like I have no control over what happens and just hope my wishes are somehow heeded.
